Dealing with boundary issues
  • Not wrong to suggest change, but consider why you’re making that suggestion and whether or not it aligns with goals.

  • Don’t offer exact language for change (lest you take over the writing) but workshop change.

  • If clarity or meaning is affected, suggest a change or ask students to explain verbally and type what they said, then compare to what was actually written.

  • Remind students of the time to reel them back in.

  • Getting off topic could be productive/useful to establish relationship and do some brainstorming.
